Elizabeth Ludwig – Fictional Romantic Interview – Part 2 of 2

      1.    What’s the most romantic thing your hero ever did for your heroine?
First, I guess I should give you a little background about my latest release. Died in the Wool is book two in the Massachusetts Mayhem series. It features characters introduced in book one, Where the Truth Lies. The main character, Monah Trenary, is sweet, strong and intelligent, but she hides a crippling insecurity regarding her birth, which is why the hero of the story, police detective Mike Brockman, is willing to put his badge on the line in order to prove her innocence. That gets harder to do when the evidence begins mounting, but despite the facts, his faith in Monah never wavers—and neither does his love.
     2.    What is your hero’s favorite romantic vacation destination?
 Knowing Mike as I do, I’d have to say his favorite romantic destination would be a cabin in the mountains, with lots of snow and evergreens around and large stone fireplace where he and Monah can sit and sip hot chocolate.
     3.    What simple gesture does your hero do that melts your heroine every time?
This is going to sound odd, I’m sure, but Mike has a habit of pushing up Monah’s glasses when they slip down her nose. Normally, this probably wouldn’t seem very romantic, but Mike only does it when Monah is upset, and this gentle touch is usually enough to calm her nerves.
     4.    How soon after meeting the hero did the heroine know he was the one?
Monah knew long before Mike did that he was “the one.” In fact, the first time she saw him, her heart fluttered inside her chest. Oh wait. . .that may have been because he was arresting her. . .
     5.     If you hero and heroine end up married, where will they go on their honeymoon?
Colorado. Definitely. They’ll probably have a winter wedding just so they can go skiing.
