Questions for Phoebe:
- What are the number one and number two quality required in your mate?
The most important qualities in a mate would be loving Jesus and the Bible, of course, and then he has to be smart, funny, and kind.
- What’s the worst place to find a mate?
On the farm! I’m usually hot and sweaty and dirty. My hair’s in a crazy mess. I’m wearing baggy farming clothes instead of cute outfits. I don’t have time for makeup. Ugh. For sure the farm, although it’s pretty fun working there with Heath every day.
- What’s the one habit that would make you run the other way?
No smoking! Please don’t lie either!
- Where do you dream of spending your honeymoon?
I’d love to go to Washington’s Skagit Valley area, find a cute bed and breakfast, and visit Floret Farm’s Cut Flower Garden. What a beautiful place according to the pictures shown on the website. Erin Benzakein, the owner and floral designer, has also written several books with gorgeous pictures of seeds and plants and blooms. I’ve never been to Washington, so I could cross that state off my bucket list.
Question for Readers: Forever Free is set on a cut flower farm. What’s your favorite flower and why?

About the book – Forever Free:
Phoebe Sinclair combines her love of flowers and teaching to nurture a cut flower business on her grandfather’s land. She’s got her hands full growing the farm, growing her customer base, and dealing with her growing attraction to the aloof man who’s volunteered to help make her farming dream come true.
Can she focus on her main job, or will a pair of yearning eyes and a hurting heart divert her worthy goals?
Heath Daniels has resigned himself to a life of singleness as he watches his siblings couple up and set wedding dates. Tracking their happiness, however, is more difficult than he expected. A real struggle, in fact.
Feeling the old troubles from his college years creeping back to tempt him, he’s propelled to volunteer for manual labor, leaving him exhausted every day, but out of danger. His additional hours of agri-business, however, lead to different struggles with an intriguing farmer.
Does he have the strength to resist old temptations as well as a beautiful new one too?
