Here’s my interview with the hero and heroine from Rodeo Regrets? They’ve got a ways to go before they end up on the same page. Comment on any post dated July 1 – 5 to get your name in the drawing for a copy of Rodeo Ashes and Rodeo Regrets. Two winners get two books each. Deadline: July 13th, 11:59 pm central time. Here’s Natalie and Lane:
Interview with Natalie Wentworth:
- Are you open to your own romance?
No. I’m not looking for anything permanent. I want to focus on gaining a relationship with my daughter.
- Where is the best place you can think of to find a mate?
At a bar. I’ve had a lot of fun at bars.
- Where is the worst place you can think of to find a mate?
High school or at a wedding. That’s so cheesy.
- What type of character traits are you attracted to?
I don’t care about character. Just give me a good looking cowboy.
Interview with Lane Gray:
- Are you open to your own romance?
Yes. I’ve made lots of mistakes with women in the past. But with the good Lord’s help, I’ve made a turn around in my life and I’d like to find a good woman to settle down with.
- Where is the best place you can think of to find a mate?
At church.
- Where is the worst place you can think of to find a mate?
A bar.
- What type of character traits are you attracted to?
This will sound strange to anyone who’s known me very long, but like I said, I’ve changed. Used to I’d have said who cares about character, just give me a pretty, curvy woman. But now, I look for someone who loves the Lord, someone honest, someone trustworthy.
What do you think, readers? Can these two get to happily ever after?
About the book:
NATALIE WENTWORTH’S PAST IS ABOUT TO CATCH UP WITH HER
Natalie once dreamed of finding true love. Then Lane Gray broke her heart. After running wild to fill the emptiness inside her, she heads back to her hometown to heal. But when she sees the cowboy she once loved so much, she finds him hard to resist.
Lane Gray is a changed man. The handsome cowboy wants Natalie’s forgiveness-and more. Natalie has made plenty of mistakes in her life, but so has Lane. Could falling for each other again be the worst one yet? Or the path to redemption?

Hi Shannon…would love to review this one for you ( I did the others as well as the White Roses series on my blog). You are the best!
Would love to win your books! I love Heartsong Presents! Thanks for the opportunity to enter into the contest! 🙂
Hey Rebecca,
Hope you get the chance to read it. Natalie’s story was really fun to write.
Jo,
Thanks for stopping by.
Marianne,
I so appreciate your reviews and compliments.
Hey Linda,
I love Heartsong Presents too. I read them long before I wrote them.
This sounds like a great book with the characters having switched personalities! Hope I get to read it!
To get my teenage daughters to read I subscribed to Heartsong Presents – every girl loves a love story…and they were safe and exhibited Christian virtues. Then I got hooked on them, later we would donate them to the school library.
Hey Melody,
I’m hoping teenage girls will get their hands on this one. Through Natalie, it explores the repercussions or promiscuity.
Sounds like you have your work cut out for you–to bring these two together in a godly relationship.
True Kay,
Sometimes I write myself into a corner. But it’s fun figuring out a way to fix it.
This looks cute! I love the opposing viewpoints.
Hey Veronica,
Opposites attract. So true.
Oooh, I see fireworks between these two! I’d love to be entered in the giveaway. Thanks!
Hey Merry,
Definite fireworks. You’re in the drawing.
Would love to get to know Natalie & Lane – thanks for the opportunity!
