Shannon acquired and performed content edits on Contemporary Romance, Romantic Suspense, Women’s Fiction, Historicals, Mysteries, and Young Adult for a total of over thirty-five books.

Shannon has worked with over a dozen editors while writing eighteen Inspirational Contemporary Romance titles traditionally published through Heartsong Presents and Harlequin Love Inspired.
In the content edit, the work is examined for troublesome writing habits on a large scale which permit fatal errors in structure. This includes examining the strengths and weaknesses of the manuscript relevant to engaging the target audience. The process seeks to make your writing consistent, smooth, and compelling so your reader moves effortlessly through your material.

1.50 to 2.50 per page
One page equals an average of 250 words (10 words average per line, 25 lines average per page, double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12 point). Documents should be on 8-1/2×11 paper, double-spaced.
