In Compromised Identity, Army Staff Sergeant Jessica Dylan finds comfort in cooking. It’s her coping mechanism and the way she shows love for others. When Staff Sergeant Sean Turner crashes into her life, he challenges everything, including her love of healthy eating. When he insists she needs his protection and shows up at her house to ensure her safety, she handles the stress by doing what she does best… taking control in her kitchen and challenging his need for comfort food with a recipe she used to make with her mother. Turns out, the way to a man’s heart really is through his stomach. And although danger intrudes halfway through dinner, Sean discovers he’s already falling for the woman he thought he’d never need.

Shannon Vannatter says
Reading, crafting, and watching sappy Hallmark movies. I also like watching kiddy movies with my family, but my son’s getting old enough, there has to be lots of action for him to sit through them. We watch the Avenger movies a lot. But I still love Inkheart, Tangled, and Toy Story. Maybe I’ll start watching them by myself 🙂

Kim, we have only recently discovered adult coloring books at our house. So much fun! Working on one now that is challenging me though. Some of them are HARD!
Shannon, thanks for having me! My daughter is all about the Avengers. I think it’s all about Thor’s hair…
Janet, you are a woman after my own heart. Someone said to me once, “Every woman should know where to go when her soul needs soothing. Yep, believe me, I know. Salt water and sand.
Eliza, I wish I had more time to read! Seems I only fit it in at bedtime now. Oh, to have a DAY to read the way I used to!
Jasmine, ooh… you have pretty nature!
Chris, I tried to sew. I am no good at it, which stinks because my grandmother was the greatest seamstress ever. I think that gene skipped me, sadly.
