- Do you and your spouse have a favorite song?
Steve wanted Household of Faith by Steve Green sung at our wedding. I would say that is our song.
- What’s the most romantic present your spouse ever bought for you?
He saw a heart-shaped necklace with a lighthouse in the center. I love lighthouses. It is a gorgeous necklace. I love it.
- How soon after meeting your spouse did you know he was the one?
I knew he was the moment I met him. We met at a Backyard Bible Study – and when I saw Steve, I said – that’s the guy I’m going to marry.
- How soon after meeting you did your spouse know you were the one?
He said he recognized me right away too – definitely smitten.
- What is the most caring thing your spouse has ever done for you?
He sat with me when I was having chemo, and bent over backwards to make sure I was completely cared for when I fought cancer.
- Where did you and your spouse go for your honeymoon?
We lived in Springfield, Missouri, at the time, and didn’t have much money, so we took day-trips for our honeymoon. One was to Branson, Missouri – specifically Silver Dollar City – one was to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. I don’t remember where else we visited.
