Deadline: Sept 24th, 11:59 pm central time. Here’s Toni:
Real-life Romance:
- How soon after meeting your spouse did you know he/she was the one?
That’s a great question. Our dating history could definitely fall in the category of insta love, however, I can’t exactly pinpoint how I knew he was the one. We said “I love you” within a month of knowing each other and were engaged within four months.
- Who is most romantic, you or your spouse?
My husband would say he is and I think I’d agree. J He’s done many romantic things over our marriage. Sometimes I try to top him (I may be slightly competitive) ;).
- Who said, “I love you” first, you or your spouse?
Me but he was quick to follow the sentiment.
- Where did you and your spouse go for your honeymoon?
We went to Vegas and enjoyed the shows (our favorite singer had a show there at the time).
Character Romance:
- How soon after meeting the hero did the heroine know he was the one?
My heroine definitely had a touch of insta love as well. But because of the things that happened once she met the hero until their own love story, she was wary of committing and declaring him as ‘the one.’
- What is the most caring thing your hero has ever done for your heroine?
Make jewelry for her fashion show. He put her needs before his own and the heroine definitely melted over his actions.

About the book – To Win a Prince:
Can she stop herself from falling before she’s too far gone?
As a fashion aficionado and best friend of the queen of the African island country Ọlọrọ Ilé, Iris Blakely dreams of using her talent to start a sustainable clothing line to help citizens in impoverished areas and honor the country’s resources. But when she discovers that Ekon Diallo–the man who betrayed her best friend–will be her business consultant, the battle between her desires and reality begins.
Ekon Diallo has lost everything: his princely title, his material possessions, his friends, and the respect of his fellow Ọlọrans. To pay for his actions against Ọlọrọ Ilé, he’s forced to assist the charismatic Iris Blakely–but he can’t allow his heart to distract him from regaining his status.
Though they come from vastly different worlds, Iris and Ekon are both determined to reach their goals, and the only way to do that is to work together–if they can just keep their hearts from getting in the way.

Question for Readers: Where would you spend a dream honeymoon if cost was no issue? Why? If you’re married, where did you spend your honeymoon?
Come back Sept 16th for Donna Schlachter!
Thank you so much for having me!
My husband passed away in August of 2021. We had been married for almost 45 years lacking 3 months. I would love to go to England or Israel for a honeymoon. We went on a cruise to Mexico and stopped at several islands and we got to go to Cancun which was a beautiful place. I don’t know if it could be topped. We were married about 35 years when we did that. We went to Sardis Lake in Mississippi. It was beautiful and we walked along the beach. We had it to ourselves because it was fairly cold but we had fun.
my dream honeymoon was Hawaii or Paris because it was so romantic. but my real honeymoon was to Nashville staying with a friend and his wife
My dream honeymoon was Bermuda. We told the travel agent our budget and she said you will only be going as far as Florida. So Florida it was !
My dream honeymoon is Hawaii or Florida cause I hear the water at the beach is warm and Blue and I always have wanted to go to Hawaii and Florida. I will be going to Hawaii in January for my brother’s make a wish trip.
I have a winner! Kendra Munio won the drawing. I appreciate Toni for being my guest and everyone else for stopping by.
