How Nicole and Jett Met
I’m excited to share my latest book, Holiday Suspect Pursuit. Here’s a bit about this suspenseful mystery, and of course, ROMANCE!
Holiday Suspect Pursuit is a reunion story between Nicole and Jett. The two were engaged to be married ten years ago, but a car accident left Jett with amnesia, and he didn’t remember the love of his life. Nicole was devastated at being forgotten by the man she loved. She left her job as a deputy at the sheriff’s department and joined the FBI, where she has been ever since. But what about before the accident? How did Nicole and Jett fall in love the first time?
Long before the opening pages of Holiday Suspect Pursuit, Jett and Nicole had dreams of building their mountain cabin on Wheeler Peak. When Nicole was in high school, her mom passed away from cancer. In a time when she should have been able depend on her father, he turned away from her in his own grief. He is the owner of a small ski resort, and he lost himself in his business. Nicole felt as though she lost both her parents during this time. If it hadn’t been for Jett Butler, she might have lost her way as well. But the cute snowboarder who frequented her mountain, took notice of her and together they started a strong friendship. Jett loved to draw maps, and together they mapped out her mountain with present landmarks as well as a future one.
Their cabin.
They both went into law enforcement, and when it came time for Jett to propose, he brought Nicole to their place and together they laid the first brick that would start the foundation of their marriage. Soon, Jett had the house nearly finished. Things were getting so exciting. Then tragedy struck and as Jett lost his memories, Nicole lost her future and her love. The event hardened Nicole, and she went on to be the toughest FBI agent.
But now, she’s back after taking a gunshot in the line of duty, but something that surprises her when she sees Jett, is that her softer side is just lying dormant, waiting to come out. But will she let it?
I do hope you will check Holiday Suspect Pursuit out. It’s available now!

Question for Readers: Have you ever had a blast from the past? Tell us about running into an old friend or family member you hadn’t seen in a while.
Come back Nov 5th for Hope Bolinger!
My blast from the past wasn’t an in-face meeting, but I have connected with a classmate that I haven’t seen since our high school graduation. He moved from our area and hasn’t come to any class reunions, and even though we aren’t constantly in touch, we do catch up sporadically through Facebook & Messenger. This is a positive side of social media!
Thanks for sharing about Holiday Suspect Pursuit.
Thank you for sharing, Connie! Sounds like I could use your story for a book idea! 😉

We were traveling to a different city and met our relatives from another city – they were also traveling. We live in a small world LOL
We were having a garage sale in our huge apartment complex and a girl from my wedding, a neighbor from highschool, showed up. Six years later.
My blast from the past was when my husband and I were in Disney World. We saw parents pushing a triplet stroller and commented how cute etc. The father said, are you D’s parents? We said yes. He played high school basketball with our son. I had forgotten they had moved there. It was a fun little reunion.
Just recently one of my cousins that I had not seen for many years contacted me on Facebook. It is always fun to be able to reminisce with friends or family that you care about but have lost touch with through the years.
I have a winner! Paula Schreckhise won the drawing. I appreciate Katy for being my guest and everyone else for stopping by.
