- What’s the most romantic thing your spouse has ever done for you?
Though my husband isn’t a true romantic in the classis sense of the word, he is very loving and often does things just because he’s trying to be nice. For example, when I forget a jacket and I’m cold, he will offer me his. He also will take walks with me even when he doesn’t want to.
- What’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever done for your spouse?
I once cooked him a super fancy meal on Valentine’s Day. I had watched a cooking show and tried copying the fish recipe. It turned out well. I also, baked a heart shaped chocolate chip pan cookie.
- Where is the most romantic place you and your spouse have ever been?
We’ve actually been to many romantic places, but I think the one I enjoyed the most wouldn’t necessarily be considered romantic by most. There used to be this little café along a creek. They had a balcony with red umbrellas and flowers and bistro tables—though not a French place, it kind of reminded me of places I’ve seen pictures of in France. We usually went early in the morning and had the entire balcony to ourselves.
- What’s the most romantic present your spouse ever bought for you?
He once left flowers on the seat of my car while I was at work. Talk about a surprise!
- What’s the most romantic present you ever bought your spouse?
Don’t laugh, but he loves Aplets and Cotlets. They are a candy that originated in a town not far from where he grew up. Seeing the joy in his face when I give him a box of those is so much fun.
- Do you and your spouse have a favorite romantic vacation destination?
Disney World! We stay at the same hotel every time which is along a man-made river. We love walking along the river together.
- Who is most romantic, you or your spouse?
Me for sure.
- Who said, “I love you” first, you or your spouse?
He did.
- Where did you and your spouse go for your honeymoon?
The Oregon Coast.

I’ve never heard of that, Kimberly. My favorite is Olive Garden. I always have Shrimp Carbonara. I love Italian and I love seafood, so it’s the perfect dish. Glad to have you here.

Kimberly Rose Johnson says
Thanks for stopping by and commenting, Kendra!
Can you believe I’ve never been there? I really need to try it out. We don’t eat out often, so when we do it’s usually a restaurant because it’s generally for a celebration of some sort.

I have a winner! Katie Andersen won the drawing. I appreciate Kimberly for being my guest and everyone else for stopping by.
