I’m super excited about some good news I recently learned. My first Love Inspired title will release in September 2016. The book is tentatively titled Reuniting with the Cowboy. This book completes my rodeo series featuring Ally and Cody, who were introduced in Rodeo Reunion. The book also spins off a new cowboy series with three more titles in the future. To celebrate, I’m giving away an out of print copy of Rodeo Hero – book two in the series. Comment or answer the question at the end of this post to enter the drawing for a copy. Deadline: Dec 26th, 11:59 pm central time:
A little about the upcoming book. I used lots of pictures like the one above for inspiration. Ally Curtis is a small and large animal veterinarian and runs a no kill pet shelter on her property. Cody Warren is a cousin to Clay Warren – from book 1, Rodeo Dust and a brother to Mitch Warren from book 5, Rodeo Queen. Cody retired from the rodeo after a severe injury and comes back to Aubrey, Texas to buy a ranch. Sparks fly when he learns his neighbor is none other than Ally, his friend since childhood until one fateful teenage kiss that built an awkward wall between them. And on top of that, he bought the land independent Ally needed to expand her shelter. It was fun writing their story and I can’t wait to see it in print.
Question for readers: At one time, I thought I wanted to be a vet, but decided I couldn’t handle dealing with injured animals. Is there a occupation you thought you wanted, but decided against? What changed your mind? Are you glad or do you regret your decision?
Come back Dec 21 for Gail Kittleson!
Shannon…this is great news. I enjoy your writing and look forward to reading your newest book. I would love to win a copy.
Reading Christian Fiction fills my lonely evenings since my husband went to heaven two years ago.
Blessings to you….keep up the good work.

Hey Shirley,
Thanks so much for the compliment. And the feeling is mutual. I enjoy your writing. I hope you’re published soon and writing fills your evenings.
I thought I wanted to be a secretary but when I took
Shorthand in high school I decided not for me. So I went on to become a teacher which I love doing.
Oh Joye, and they don’t even do shorthand anymore I don’t think. But I’m glad you found your calling.
I have a winner! Kim Hampton won the drawing. She commented on a post by Laura V. Hilton which was included in this drawing. I appreciate everyone else for stopping by.
