- What’s the most romantic thing your spouse has ever done for you?
He cooks me little candle light dinners. Usually chili served on my best table cloth. He’s a guy…
- What’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever done for your spouse?
I gave him two tickets to a NASCAR race a few years ago and told him to take his best friend. He chose me.
- Where is the most romantic place you and your spouse have ever been?
We went to Cozumel on our last anniversary. A week in a little cottage on the beach. I highly recommend it as a get away.
- Do you and your spouse have a favorite romantic restaurant?
Not really, I like Italian, Benton likes Mexican. We try to compromise.
- Do you and your spouse have a favorite song?
Neither of us can carry a tune in a bucket. Sometimes he’ll walk through the house singing old 60’s songs and I’ll come back with a version of my own. Shuts him right up.
- What’s the most romantic present your spouse ever bought for you?
You know, after 30+ years of marriage, it’s the little things that stand out. The night my mother went to heaven, he brought me a Hershey bar. Might not sound like much, but I needed the comfort and he knew it. That makes it romantic.
- Do you and your spouse have a favorite romantic vacation destination?
We do now. It took me 10 years to talk him into Cozumel. Now he’s planning the next trip.
- How soon after meeting your spouse did you know he was the one?
I knew right away and started working towards convincing him.
- How soon after meeting you did your spouse know you were the one?
He’s a guy, I think he was still thinking it over on our wedding day.
- Who is most romantic, you or your spouse?
Me
- Who said, “I love you” first, you or your spouse?
Me
- Where did you and your spouse go for your honeymoon?
We were young and on a budget. We went to a little bed and breakfast and had sonic for lunch the next day.
About Sharon:
Sharon Srock lives with her husband, Larry, and two dogs in Rural Oklahoma. She is a mother, grandmother, and Sunday School teacher. Sharon has one and three-quarters jobs and writes in her spare time. Her favorite hobby is traveling with her grandchildren. She is a member of the ACFW and currently serves as treasurer for her local chapter. Sharon’s writing credits include numerous poems and short stories published in science fiction fanzines.
About the book – Callie: Three dire circumstances. Three desperate prayers. One miracle to save them all.
Callie Stillman is drawn to the evasive girl who’s befriended her granddaughter, but the last time Callie tried to help a child, her efforts backfired. Memories of the tiny coffin still haunt her.
Samantha and Iris Evans should be worried about homework, not whether they can pool enough cash to survive another week of caring for an infant while evading the authorities.
Steve Evans wants a second chance at fatherhood, but his children are missing. And no one seems to want to help the former addict who deserted his family.
For Steve to regain the relationship he abandoned, for his girls to receive the care they deserve, Callie must surrender her fear and rely on God to work the miracle they all need.

I was in tears when you said that your husband brought you a Hershey Bar on the night your Mother went to Heaven. How comforting and he was there for you. My Mother went to Heaven almost 9 months ago. My husband was there with open arms when I got home. He wrapped me in a big hug and let me cry. I miss her so.
I can’t wait to read “Callie”.
Blessings!
Judy
