• What’s the most romantic thing your hero ever did for your heroine? 

Hamilton bought Lydia a new horse for their wedding after her horse died.

• Where is the most romantic place your hero and heroine have ever been?

They went to Shell Island, Panama City Beach, Florida for a week with Lydia’s family before they were married.

• What’s the most romantic present your hero ever bought your heroine?

Hamilton gave Lydia a leather journal on their wedding day so she could write about their journey together.

• What simple gesture does your hero do that melts your heroine every time?

He whisks her off to the dance floor to cast her cares away.

• How soon after meeting the hero did the heroine know he was the one?

Lydia has known Hamilton all of her life but always thought of him as a brother. When he returns home from school one summer, she’s instantly attracted to him. She, however, resists the lure of love, wanting to be more than a wife and mother. But it doesn’t take her too long to fall for him. However, she discovers a terrible secret that will keep them apart and what she once didn’t want, she now wants but can’t have. It’s a tangled web.

• Who is most romantic, your hero or your heroine?

My hero, Hamilton.

• What is the most caring thing your hero has ever done for your heroine?

Lydia falls from her horse and is knocked unconscious. The horse has fallen on her legs and he is injured and can’t get up. Hamilton is forced to put her horse down in order to save Lydia’s life.

• Who said, “I love you” first, your hero or your heroine?

Hamilton tells Lydia he loves her first.
