Interview with Lexi Branson – heroine of Shattered Identity

• Are you open to your own romance?

I’ve dated lots of guys. I’m the type of girl who goes after what I want and always gets it. I recently graduated from high school where I was a cheerleader and one of the most popular girls in school. When I met Zack, I was immediately attracted to him. He’s gorgeous. The only problem is that he’s older. I’m nineteen and he’s twenty-five. Because my mom wouldn’t approve, I’ve not told her about Zack.

•  What’s the number one quality you’d require in a mate?

The number one quality I require in a mate is that a guy be faithful. My dad cheated on my mom and now they’re divorced and he married a much younger woman and has a new baby. He doesn’t have time for me now. After he left, my mom started drinking and life has never been the same.

• What’s the number two quality you’d require in a mate?

The number two quality I require in a mate is that he treat me like a princess. I want it all. I want the fairy-tale. I want a guy who cherishes me. I want a guy that I’m so crazy about that I can’t stay away from him for one minute without thinking about him.

•  What’s the one habit or lifestyle that would make you run the other way?

I’d run from a guy who hits women. I volunteer at a shelter for battered woman and I don’t understand why they put up with guys who beat on them.

•  Where do you dream of getting married?

I’d love to get married on a beach somewhere at dusk under a beautiful pink and white tent. Flowers will be everywhere and the soothing sound of the ocean will greet us as we vow to love each other forever.

•  Where do you dream of spending your honeymoon?

I’m not picky. Anywhere with Zack will be absolutely perfect. I’m sure he’ll choose somewhere warm and tropical. He loves the ocean.
