• What’s the most romantic thing your spouse has ever done for you?

After seven years of marriage, my husband took me to a restaurant that we used to enjoy when we were dating. He had the top of the cake recreated and hired someone to sing, “We’ve Only Just Begun,” by the Carpenters. 

• What’s the most romantic present you ever bought your spouse?

My husband was very busy his last semester of school and at the same time he wanted desperately to get his resume out for a job. Every day I typed up resumes and sent them out various airline carriers around the US. One month after graduation he was interviewed by one of the major carriers where he works today.

• Do you and your spouse have a favorite romantic vacation destination?

Hawaii.

• What simple gesture does your spouse do that melts you every time?

Even now when my husband is on the phone with me and says, “I love you,” it makes my day.

• What is the most caring thing you’ve ever done for your spouse?

For years no matter what time he has to go work I get up and make him a great breakfast.

• Who said, “I love you” first, you or your spouse?

My spouse.

• Where did you and your spouse go for your honeymoon?

Grand Canyon. In a cabin for 2 days and 2 days camping. That was all we could afford and we loved it!
