1. How soon after meeting the hero did the heroine know he was the one?
She knew immediately. It was a case of love at first site. But, of course, it didn’t really turn out like that, many obstacles to overcome.
2. Who is most romantic, your hero or your heroine?
He is. She puts up a big wall he must break down.
3. What is the most caring thing your hero has ever done for your heroine?
The most caring thing David did for Annequin was to give her a Bible, at a moment when she was trying to run away from him. It completely changed her life eventually. He was persistent, showing God’s love through it all.
4. Who said, “I love you” first, your hero or your heroine?
The hero, David did.
5. If you hero and heroine end up married, where will they go on their honeymoon?
Jersey shore, in a condo on the beach.
ROMANTIC EXCERPT:
He picked up his flute of champagne and held it up to me for a toast. “To us,” he said, gently clicking the side of my glass.
“To us,” I said softly, smiling as I took a drink, all the while keeping my eyes on David. He kept staring at me, looking as if he wanted to say something but he kept his mouth shut. I gently put the flute down, finished my dessert, and sat back in my chair, satisfied, happy, and perplexed over David’s odd behavior.
He picked his glass up and drank more. “This sure is good,” he said, holding his glass up to examine it closer.
“Mmm hmmm.” I picked mine up for a sip and David looked intently at my glass. I followed his stare and saw something shimmering on the bottom.
“You better drink that on down, so we can see what this is,” David said with a wicked smile across his face.
I felt my face redden and opened my mouth to speak, but David nodded and mouthed “drink.” So I obeyed, and swallowed up to the last little bit, when the shiny object started to slide. David reached over for my glass and poured the remaining champagne onto his napkin. He gingerly dabbed off the object in the glass. Then he nervously stood up, went down on one knee in front of me, and grabbed my left hand. My right hand went unconsciously to my mouth as my eyes threatened to water. I wanted to say to him I was not worth kneeling down in front of but thought better than to insult his gesture.
He swallowed hard as his Adam’s apple bobbed; his hands trembled as he gently held my hand. “Annequin Marlene Spartan, six months ago I was a lonely man before I happened to see the most beautiful girl in the world. Right there on the steps at Caesar’s Palace stood the woman God had in mind for me. I knew it then. I took every step imaginable to get to know you better, and not only did I accomplish that, I fell in love with you, head over heels, undoubtedly smitten forever. I have never looked back since then and these past four months have been the best of my life. I know beyond a doubt that I want you by my side as my mate and my partner in all that I do. Annequin, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife? Will you marry me?” He paused, hands trembling, misty-eyed, and waiting for my answer. The entire room seemed to pause to hear it.
“Yes,” I said through my tears. “Yes,” I held out my hand as he slid the ring onto my finger and held up my hand to everyone watching.
“She said yes!” he exclaimed, as everyone clapped. I blushed even deeper as I threw my arms around his neck and then reared back to kiss him, right there in front of all those strangers.

About the book – Priceless – Love’s True Worth:
Have you ever wondered if there was any sin that God’s grace doesn’t cover? Does a person live who has fallen so deeply in the mire of sin that even God’s love and mercy can’t reach? Even when all hope seems lost and you think life is no longer worth living, God’s love shines through…somehow…
He works in mysterious ways, even when we make the conscious choice to deny Him. He wishes for no one to be lost. No one…
Priceless – Love’s True Worth is such a story, a coming of age romance about a young girl faced with almost more than she can handle. Her life leads her to ill choices that lead her down a dark and unworthy path…until she meets him…until he introduces her to the One who can reach down and save her. The question remains, will she accept it? Will she change her ways?
For mature audiences due to subject matter. No graphic descriptions, just situations.
